About:

Mangrove Bay Middle School's Health and Wellness Leadership Academy is a south county magnet program that offers students in grades 6 through 8 a project-based curriculum, designed to challenge students to think critically and excel academically.  Students will develop skills, knowledge and practices to lead healthy and fulfilling lives through movement, physical activity, and academic engagement. Required magnet theme courses ensure all students focus on wellness throughout their middle school years, paired with rigorous courses, in a state-of-the-art learning environment, and supported by highly qualified teachers.
